Argan oil travel size: the top picks on the market
Buy authentic, buy organic
Argan oil travel size
The buzz surrounding Argan oil has been around for a few years now. In the west, our love for the stuff started when the Moroccan Oil brand first entered the scene. Since then, the market has been flooded with all sorts of argan oil travel size products.
However, as I learned during my travels around Morocco, just because the label says ‘argan oil’ doesn’t mean it is. There are many fakes claiming to be the real deal, and it’s not easy knowing which one’s really authentic. Saying that, if you’re going to invest in a good quality argan oil, get it right the first time.
The benefits of argan oil
If you’ve never tried argan oil before, it’s a good staple to have around. It’s packed with vitamin E, and is a natural anti-oxidant moisturizer that deeply absorbs into the skin. The quality argan oils are also fragrance free, meaning men can use it too! Its powerful anti-ageing properties leaves your skin softer with a healthy glow.
As a hair conditioner, regularly using argan oil leaves hair feeling silkier and noticeably shinier. It’s also been known to help with dry scalp problems, and even helps to thicken the hair with continuous use.
Other benefits include helping to reduce skim blemishes and stretch marks too. Men will find argan oil good for pre-shaving, while mothers can use it on young children and infants. Above all, the beauty of argan oil is that anyone can use it, regardless of their skin type.
Argan oil travel size: Cliganic Organic Argan Oil
If you haven’t been to Morocco and sourced your own argan oil, worry not. There are some excellent products on the market that can be delivered straight to your doorstep. Cliganic Organic Argan Oil, is one such example. Composed of 100% pure Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, the oil’s imported from Morocco and is USDA certified.
The oil’s cold-pressed from the seeds of argan nuts, which helps to preserve its fatty acids and vitamin E. Its light and nutty in scent, which is actually a good indicator the oil hasn’t been refined.
It’s especially good for travelers as the 2oz bottle oil will easily fit into your cabin bag. Wastage is minimal, as you apply it with a dropper right onto your skin. One to 3 drops are enough when applying the oil onto the body, face, or nails. Just ensure you massage it properly and evenly into the skin, and avoid contact with the eyes.
To condition the hair, add some argan oil before shampooing, comb it through, and give it a few minutes. I find that 2 drops are more than enough to condition long hair.
Argan oil travel size: Kate Blanc
Another contender for a high-quality travel-size argan oil is this one from Kate Blanc. An unrefined oil and bottled in its purest form, it works wonders on skin, hair and nails.
The oil comes in a light or nutty scent depending on your preference. Most of the lower quality argan oils may smell nice, but they won’t have any of the health benefits. USDA certified, the oil also helps to stimulate hair growth as well as keep nails strong and healthy.
