5 Ibiza luxury villas in every part of the island

NOVEMBER 2018
How’s the weather looking where you are? If winter is already rearing its head, I’ve got 5 Ibiza luxury villas to keep the summer vibes alive.
Located in the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Ibiza is one of the largest of the group. Mallorca, Menorca, and Formentera make up the other larger islands, each with its own charm and appeal.
However, let’s get back to Ibiza. An island with a reputation of being a partying paradise, it’s also working to show another side to Ibizan life. A coast lined with pine trees, quaint villages and sandy beaches, the nightclubs are not the only attraction. There’s also quite a bohemian feel in Ibiza; something evident in the fashion, style and its holistic practices.
Depending on where you’re flying from, flights are relatively frequent to Ibiza. From in and around mainland Europe, it’s pretty straightforward to get direct flights. If you’re flying in from further abroad, you’ll probably need to connect in Valencia. To get around the island, car hire is a must.
These 5 Ibiza luxury villas offer a comfortable yet chic place to stay, and in different parts of the island too. Whether you’re traveling as a group of friends, or as a family, these villas guarantee ultimate relaxation in beautiful surroundings.
Ibiza luxury villas
San Juan – Ibiza north
This villa is in the north of Ibiza, in the town of San Juan. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate 8 people. Ibiza airport is approximately 25 to 30 minutes by car. Newly constructed, the villa emulates Mediterranean living with its wide-open spaces and large outdoor areas.
Dining al-fresco is a must, at the barbecue area that overlooks the swimming pool. From here, you can enjoy views towards the fields of the village of San Juan, which is 2km away. The town has several restaurants and shops for entertaining and convenience purposes.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances such as a Nespresso coffee machine and a juice maker. Special features in the villa include a hydro massage bathtub and an outside whirlpool bath with aromatherapy. WiFi is available throughout the property.
The beaches of Cala Xarraca and Cala Benirrás are around 5km by car. Alternatively, you may prefer to visit the beaches in the north coast in Santa Eulalia, which is approximately 20 minutes by car.

Can Basso – Ibiza east
If you like your villa a bit more on the minimalist side, you’ll like Can Basso. Surrounded by terraces and stone walls, this charming villa near the village of Santa Eulalia has a lot of character.
There are 6 double bedrooms, which can accommodate 12 to 14 people. Can Basso also has 6 bathrooms, so there should be no waiting your turn for a shower or the toilet!
There’s a dining room that opens onto the porch of the house, and a large living room overlooking the pool. The semi-open fully stocked kitchen makes it ideal for entertaining and cooking at the same time.
WiFi is available in the villa, as is air conditioning to keep cool in the Ibizan heat. If you, or your fellow travelers have young children, you can ask for a cot on request.
Can Basso is approximately 5km from the nearest beach, and around 23km to the airport.

Cala Tarida – Ibiza south
In the south of Ibiza, in Cala Tarida, is this gorgeous luxury villa with everything you could possibly need. There are 3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and can accommodate 6, to a maximum of 10, people.
It’s located in a residential area near the beach of Cala Tarida, offering complete peace in the Ibizan surrounding countryside. The décor perfectly emulates a modern Mediterranean villa, with its outdoor dining area and barbecue, plus a relaxing terrace.
There are 2 master suites with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with a shower. It’s definitely a room with a view, as it opens onto its own terrace, which has its own outdoor shower! Other features include a large living room with fireplace, and kitchen with high-end appliances such as a SMEG cooker.
Outside is a furnished terrace, complete with infinity swimming pool and sun loungers and chairs. You can request for the water to be heated during the colder months. As I love to cook, I’m very partial to the outdoor kitchen with a wooden verandah and professional barbecue. It really lets you make the most of Mediterranean al-fresco dining, while enjoying the views further afield.
About the area
The nearest beach to the villa is Cala Tarida (2.7km). It takes between 5 to 15 minutes to see the other beaches in the region like Cala Vadella. San José is the closest village, with a host of shops and restaurants for your convenience. The drive takes around 6 minutes.
“Overlooking the sea on the west coast, this villa is the place to book if you enjoy catching dramatic sunsets.”

Es Cubells – Ibiza south
My second choice of villa in the south of Ibiza has far-reaching views of the Mediterranean Sea and Formentera Island.
This beautiful villa’s in the village of Es Cubells, and has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It’s ideal for 8 people, so could either accommodate 2 families or a large group of friends.
Though it’s essential to hire a car here, it’s also possible to walk to local places. The nearest restaurant is around 5 to 10 minutes, while Es Cubells is approximately 10 to 15 minutes by foot.
The double bedroom on the lower level has a balcony that opens up to views of the Mediterranean Sea below. Another double bedroom allows access to the main pool terrace. Air conditioning and WiFi is available throughout the villa.
Relax with a good book in one of the hanging swings on the bedroom terrace. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with all the essential appliances to ensure a comfortable stay.
Outside is a private rectangular swimming pool, with 6 sunbeds and 1 lounge sofa. The outdoor terrace has table and chairs to facilitate outdoor dining — made more special with the sea views.
Beaches in the region are easy to reach too. Es Cubells is the closest, at only 2 minutes away, while Porroig and Cala D’Hort are 15 minutes by car. The town of San José is a 10-minute drive, while San Antonio is 20 minutes away. It takes around 18 minutes to reach the airport.

Cala Vadella – Ibiza west
There’s nothing I don’t adore about this luxury villa, that’s just 500m from the beach at Cala Vadella. Complete with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it epitomizes Ibizan chic and comfort, all while offering breathtaking sea views. It’s ideal for a party of 6, but can stretch to a maximum of 8 people.
Overlooking the sea on the west coast, this villa is the place to book if you enjoy catching dramatic sunsets.
All bedrooms come with spacious double beds and en-suite bathrooms. As you can see from the photos, its design is modern yet inviting. One of the bedrooms has its own private terrace, so be quick off the mark if you want this room! Inside is a spacious living room with fireplace, and a kitchen stocked with the latest appliances.
Outdoors is my favorite feature, a lengthy infinity pool. On top of that, there are large terraces where you can relax after a refreshing swim.
Apart from the beach at Cala Vadella, it’s around a 10-minute drive to reach Cala Carbo and Cala D’Hort. The airport is approximately 18 minutes by car.

OMG these are gorgeous villas, ultra luxurious I may say. The pool areas are amazing and definitely I can trade places just for this 😀
Ibiza, you are definitely in my list!
Perfect! Let me know if you ever visit, I’d like to know how your stay went
The villas look fantastic! It’s hard to pick which one is the best. What’s better, each can accomodate a large group. It means you can always split the cost. ?
Exactly! They’re not as much when you’re in a big group too 🙂
Glad to know I can stay at a grown-up place in Ibiza. I have been to Mallorca before, but didn’t make it to Ibiza– yet!!
Ah, so now you know where to stay for when you do visit!
I haven’t been to Ibiza yet, but it’s definitely been on my radar. All of these villas look absolutely incredible, but I would have to say that Cala Vadella is closest to what I would like. Being so close to the beach, and who doesn’t love an infinity pool? Those views look like something out of a movie, absolutely incredible!
That’s my favourite too! The infinity pool is gorgeous, and you may not need the beach even though it’s close by
*Swoon. They all look like brilliant places to stay. If I had to pick I would go with Cala Tarida – Ibiza south – just because of that amazing outdoor eating space.
It’s really beautiful isn’t it?! Imagine how many al-fresco meals you can have here!
