Best caffeine eye cream – The Inkey List
Travel sized and hard working
If you’re looking for the best caffeine eye cream out there, look no further than The Inkey List Caffeine Serum. As someone who invests heavily in eye skincare, I can, hand on my heart, say, this really works.
Its ethos, and packaging, seems to follow suit of The Ordinary. The Inkey List is all about using the most effective ingredients to deliver impressive skincare results. A key ingredient they use in some of their best-selling products contains retinol. This not only helps collagen production (maintains skin elasticity), but also leaves skin looking brighter and smoother. In short, The Inkey List works wonders for those like me who are in their 30s.
The Inkey List skincare superstars
There’s little doubt that frequent bouts of travelling can take its toll on your skin. Moving from strong UV rays of sunshine, to biting winds and rain soon starts to affect the skin’s appearance.
When I discovered The Inkey List — and saw how affordable their prices were — I didn’t hesitate to try it out. As always, I aim to present skincare products that work, are affordable, and most importantly, come in travel-sized packaging.
Best caffeine eye cream – The Inkey List Caffeine Serum
I’m one of those unlucky few that suffer from dark circles under the eyes. Even in my younger days, one or two late nights out, and the evidence would show a day later. Since using eye serums and creams, I’ve definitely noticed a difference, though minute. All good skincare products only work in conjunction with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, ie, drinking plenty of water, exercise etc.
Now, I’m always on the lookout for eye serums/creams that’ll banish dark circles, and reduce fine lines too. The Inkey List Caffeine Serum is like a coffee shot for the delicate under eye area. Coffee’s an antioxidant that helps to reduce any puffiness, and minimise those annoying dark circles. Another key ingredient is Matrixyl 3000, which helps to boost collagen and basically keeps you looking younger for longer.
I’ve been using the serum for nearly 1 month, and have definitely noticed an improvement in the dark circles. I use it more in the evening, than the morning, but the instructions are to use both AM and PM. You only need a tiny amount and the texture is light, not greasy, and very hydrating.
A very strong 100% ‘yes’ from me.
The Inkey List Vitamin C Serum
I wasn’t too sure the first time I tried The Inkey List Vitamin C Serum. My skin type is normal/combination, and I rarely ever react to new skincare products. Though I didn’t react badly, there’s a tingling sensation that does take a while to get used to.
Most of us are aware of the benefits of vitamin c, whether it be through vitamin-rich foods or drinks. If like me, you live in a big city, pollution does more harm to the skin than you might realise. That said, a power antioxidant like vitamin c, helps to prevent any skin damage, and correct it in the process.
Vitamin C also helps to enhance the skin’s plumpness and elasticity, while brightening skin tone at the same time. Probably the most important ingredient is L-Ascorbic Acid. The Inkey List Vitamin C Serum contains a 30% pure waterless formulation, which could be the reason behind the tingling!
The Inkey List Zinc Moisturiser
It’s not easy deciding which of The Inkey List moisturisers to try first. There are several other great contenders, like the Turmeric Cream Moisturiser as well as the Hemp Oil Cream Moisturiser. However, given my love of SPF over the years, there was one that stood out the most.
The Inkey List Zinc Moisturiser is a light absorbing formula with SPF 50, that protects and moisturises your skin. It works well in tropical climates and cold dry temperatures too. One thing I really like, is that it protects my skin without blocking my pores. This sunscreen moisturiser also contains 1% hyaluronic acid, meaning your skin’s hydrated on the inside, and the out.
Like the Vitamin C Serum, I also get a tingling when applying this cream. However, after several uses, I can say my skin has adjusted to it, and I’m very happy with the results.
The Inkey List – Travel-size skincare
All in all, I’m very happy with the products I’ve tried so far with The Inkey List. All products also come in travel-size ready containers: Caffeine Serum (15ml), Zinc Moisturiser and Vitamin C Serum (both 30ml). I recommend each of them 100% and urge you to also check them out for yourself.
