Every year on Valentine’s Day, I approach my post box knowing there will be a card waiting for me. The fact that it’s usually from my mother is a minute detail.

These days, Valentine’s Day is a typically quiet affair. There’s been the odd dinner out, or a girl’s night at an anti-Valentine’s party. With many great spas in London, I decided to check out couples massage London deals on offer. Whatever you decide to do, turn a normal day into a treat day.

Nb – All the spas/hotels on the list offer packages beyond Valentine’s Day.

Couples massage London

Thai Square Spa

Thai Square Spa is about a 3-minute walk from Trafalgar Square. The spa changed venue from its Covent Garden location 2 years ago to its current larger building. Its manager, Sara, and the rest of the team are nothing but helpful and ready to make your visit a memorable one.

luxury couples spa packages London Valentine's Day: Thai Square Spa

Thai Square Spa – outside and in

The establishment’s exactly what you’d expect from a spa: calming environment, dim lighting and mood music softy playing in the background. It may sound obvious, but don’t forget to bring your swimwear!

The Sen Space is where you can unwind and let off steam, and sweat, in the steam and sauna room. An ideal sized Jacuzzi instantly erases the stresses of the day. Thai Square Spa also has its own beauty products called the iMantara range. Certain products are available in store and online. If you enjoy well-being therapies from the East, you may be keen on trying the Filipino hilot massage.

Luxury spa experience in London’s West End

I tried the Ritual Massage – a personalized treatment using oils blended from flower and fruit extracts. Combining the oils with oriental massage techniques, my therapist, Paolo, did a first-class job of making me feel relaxed.

Couples packages range from 2.5 hours to the ultimate experience of 5 hours. At the time of writing, the spa has a special offer called the ‘Food of Love Spa Package’. This deal combines treatments with dinner at the nearby Thai Square restaurant.

Ultimately, Thai Square Spa offers a luxury experience for couples looking for a spot of pampering in London’s West End.

Ready for the LOVE Shambhala massage

The ‘Love from COMO Shambhala couples massage’ offers 75 minutes of deep relaxation. Shambhala is a Sanskrit term meaning a place of peace/tranquility/happiness, so you know this will be good. To ramp up the romantic feel, the massage is carried out by candlelight. Using a range of signature blended oils, you’ll leave the spa with a calm mind and possibly a numb body.

In case you really don’t want to leave, the hotel’s also offering suites complete with bed, breakfast and a bottle of Tattinger champagne. The price also includes use of the hotel’s facilities, such as the gym. Packages start from £400. While in town, be smart and beat the lines when seeing the best London attractions by booking a popular tour.

But wait, there’s more

If cocktail-making is your thing, the hotel’s also hosting a cocktail masterclass for 2 at the iconic Met Bar. Try your skills at creating the intriguing sounding ‘Lady Killer’. Perhaps a ‘Between the sheets’ cocktail will be better suited to the mood of the evening. The masterclass starts from £84 per couple, and includes delicious canapés, home-made truffles and macarons.

St Pancras Spa, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

St Pancras Spa is situated in the historic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London next to St Pancras Station. First opened in 1876, renovation work began on the hotel in 2005 before its grand re-opening in 2011.

Spa packages are the best treats to give to yourself. The ones in this list offer luxury, sweet treats and more, what more could one ask for? I particularly like the concept of the hydropool in the ‘love to spa’. Cheers!!

These 5 spa package options in London look wonderful. A package voucher would make the perfect gift for my parents as they have been known to go for a couples spa. For me, I really like the look of the Lovers Afternoon Tea, I know it’s for lovers but I would love to take my daughter to enjoy afternoon tea at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel.

Then again luxury and Spa are synonymous so i’m not surprised that there are so many amazing opportunities for some rest and relaxation in the British capital. great list and hope to make us of it when i’m there next.

These look absolutely wonderful – I love a good spa! I have been to one before with my husband but not on Valentines Day! You have given me a great idea for this year – we are in Australia so will have to do some homework but a spa seems a great idea!

  21. Bhusha

Hahaha!!! This post is a bit late for me, by a year!! One, I’ve moved away from London now and two, I don’t think I can celebrate V’Day like this, this year, thanks to our tiny little one!
I would have totally loved St.Pancras spa with all its sweet treats and I guess its the closest to where I lived in London!

  22. Diana

I’ve never been to the spa or gotten a massage! Haha. The thought of a stranger massaging me actually makes me cringe BUT I would love to relax at the pool/gym at one of these spas and definitely take them up on the prosecco and chocolates offer! I would love to go into the St Pancras Spa just to check out the architecture – it looks absolutely stunning.

  23. Medha Verma

I probably would not have associated London with spas if I hadn’t come across your post, Lisa. I am pretty certain, however, that most of these must be quite expensive. However, if its Valentine’s Day and I want to be pampered, shelling out a little bit extra money is acceptable 😉 I would probably go for the entire package at COMO Metropolitan, London, at £400— even though it sounds pricey. I would also want to visit the Met Bar for their ‘Between the sheets’ cocktail – I wonder what that one’s like haha, and maybe even take the cocktail making class.

    Reply
    • Lisa

Lol it’s a very suggestive name! Yes, these spa packages are on the pricey side, but honestly, for a special occasion, it’s worth it 😉

  24. Jas

I’m as single as a dolla but who says you can’t celebrate self love on Valentine’s! I’d totally treat myself to all of these (but do they offer singles package by any chance? They should be discounted more too since it’s sad enough for us single folks hahaa.) St. Pancras Spa’s pool is so pretty and you totally had me at afternoon tea too!

    Reply
    • Lisa

Haha, yes! It’s definitely a way to pamper yourself 🙂 You can definitely use these packages to bring a friend, which is just as good as having a significant other 😉
