Mallorca, Menorca, and Formentera make up the other larger islands, each with its own charm and appeal.
However, let’s get back to Ibiza. An island with a reputation of being a partying paradise, it’s also working to show another side to Ibizan life.
A coast lined with pine trees, quaint villages and sandy beaches, the nightclubs are not the only attraction. There’s also quite a bohemian feel in Ibiza; something evident in the fashion, style and its holistic practices.
How to get to Ibiza
Depending on where you’re flying from, flights are relatively frequent to Ibiza. From in and around mainland Europe, it’s pretty straightforward to get direct flights.
If you’re flying in from further abroad, you’ll probably need to connect in Valencia. To get around the island, hiring a car hire is a must.

Ibiza north
Escape to the north of Ibiza at the fabulous Ses Caletes Hacienda. This dreamy villa’s located in a protected natural space near the village of San Joan de Labritja. With 5 double bedrooms with sea views, 4 bathrooms and 2 living rooms, it’s ideal for large groups.
A great choice too for a winter sun getaway, the villa’s fireplace will warm you up on cooler nights.
Step inside
Outdoors is a natural water pool (12x4), solarium terrace and an organic vegetable garden. The small and secluded beach of Ses Caletes is nearby, while Benirràs Beach is around 8.9km (5.5mi) from the villa.
Ses Caletes Hacienda is where you come to forget about the rituals of everyday life. Switch off, and tune in to the peace and tranquillity that surrounds you.
Can Fina — Ibiza east
If you like your villa with a natural, yet modern, decor, you’ll love Can Fina. Surrounded by terraces and stone walls, this charming villa near the village of Santa Eulalia has a lot of character.
There are 6 double bedrooms, which can accommodate 12 people. Can Fina also has 6 bathrooms, so there's no having to wait for the shower or toilet.
There’s a dining room that opens onto the porch of the house, and a large living room overlooking the pool. The semi-open fully stocked kitchen makes it ideal for entertaining and cooking at the same time.
WiFi is available in the villa, as is air conditioning to keep cool in the Ibizan heat. If you, or your fellow travelers have young children, you can ask for a cot on request.
Can Fina is approximately 5km from the nearest beach, and around 23km to the airport.
Ibiza south
Located towards the south-east of the island is the picturesque Villa Belvedere. Eivissa Airport is just 6 minutes’ drive from the property, which is a godsend if traveling from afar.
Inside the property are 4 modern bedrooms, with the capacity to sleep a maximum of 6 people. Within the villa’s grounds is a manicured garden, large swimming pool, loungers and an outdoor dining space.
Extra cleaning measures are in place at Villa Belvedere, with hand sanitizers also inside the property.
About the area
The villa's a short 6-minute drive to Ibiza Airport, which is great news if you're coming from afar. Playa den Bossa is the closest beach, offering visitors plenty of white sand, warm sea waters and beautiful views.
Ibiza Old Town is around 10 minutes' drive from Villa Belvedere. Along with restaurants, shops and nightlife, the old town's also where you'll find Eivissa Castle.
Like the Sicilian island of Lipari, this medieval castle is perched high on a hilltop overlooking the Balearic Sea.

Es Cubells — Ibiza south
My second choice of villa in the south of Ibiza has far-reaching views of the Mediterranean Sea and Formentera Island.
This beautiful villa’s in the village of Es Cubells, and has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It’s ideal for 8 people, so could either accommodate 2 families or a large group of friends.
Though it’s essential to hire a car here, it’s also possible to walk to local places. The nearest restaurant is around 5 to 10 minutes, while Es Cubells is approximately 10 to 15 minutes by foot.
Sea views
The double bedroom on the lower level has a balcony that opens up to views of the Mediterranean Sea below. Another double bedroom allows access to the main pool terrace. Air conditioning and WiFi is available throughout the villa.
Relax with a good book in one of the hanging swings on the bedroom terrace. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with all the essential appliances to ensure a comfortable stay.
Outside is a private rectangular swimming pool, with 6 sunbeds and 1 lounge sofa. The outdoor terrace has table and chairs to facilitate outdoor dining — made more special with the sea views.
Beaches in the region are easy to reach too. Es Cubells is the closest, at only 2 minutes away, while Porroig and Cala D’Hort are 15 minutes by car. The town of San José is a 10-minute drive, while San Antonio is 20 minutes away. It takes around 18 minutes to reach the airport.
Ibiza west
Explore the west side of Ibiza by booking a few nights in the resort town of Cala Vadella. This luxury villa has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a good-size heated swimming pool.
The top floor bedroom (double or twin) has an en-suite bathroom, and a terrace that overlooks the sea. On the second floor is the lounge, kitchen and dining area, plus additional bedrooms with sea views.
A second kitchen, lounge and more bedrooms occupy the first floor, as does a game room.
Great for families
A family-friendly property, this villa provides baby and toddler equipment as well as bed guards and baby monitors. What’s more, a British nanny with 20 years’ experience is available at an extra cost for daytime or evening duties.
Apart from the beach at Cala Vadella, it’s around a 10-minute drive to reach Cala Carbo and Cala D’Hort. The airport is approximately 18 minutes by car.

I've never been to Ibiza but always heard it was such a party spot, as you mentioned. But I would definitely love to visit if I could get one of these villas. Looks like any place on the island has a great place to just chill and take in the sunshine.

Oh. My. GAWD! I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after looking at these! I cannot believe how luxurious they all are, I am absolutely drooling over them. I think I would have tof pick the Es Cubels because of the sunset view- sunsets are my favorite! That pool wouldn't disappoint either.

I like that you've showed the duality of the island - it IS more than just a party capital. And I could totally see myself whipping up a BBQ in the Cala Tarida with those incredible views.

These villas are all amazing and I can't wait to stay at one of them! The outdoor shower of Cala Tarida looks fun with the cactus and the view of the bedroom and swimming pool of Cala Vadella is amazing! Hard to choose from all these places. They are all really beautiful!

I'm usually not a big fan of luxury (I prefer to spend my money in things that are more meaningful to me), but after staying at a 5* hotel in Greece I would definitely do it again. The Cala Vadella would definitely be my first choice!

I haven't been to Ibiza yet, but it's definitely been on my radar. All of these villas look absolutely incredible, but I would have to say that Cala Vadella is closest to what I would like. Being so close to the beach, and who doesn't love an infinity pool? Those views look like something out of a movie, absolutely incredible!

Actually October is probably my favourite, as summer's too busy and too hot. November's still ok, but it starts to get cooler

I have never thought about traveling to Ibiza. But after this review, I will put this exotic location on my travel bucket list. Although all the villas look amazing, my favorite would be the one included with infinity pool overlooking the sea. BEAUTIFUL. Cheers to more happy travels!

I am struggling to decide between Ibiza and Mellorca and you rightly said, Ibiza has a reputation of being a party destination but I am glad you pointed out that there's much more to it! All the luxury villas you've listed here are pretty awesome, but my personal favourite is Es Cubells because of the fantastic coastal views! I mean, for me the whole point of staying on an island is to be able to enjoy the lovely waters and to have a room with a view of those gorgeous blue seas is a must!
It really has more to offer on Ibiza than just the clubs! I know you'd really enjoy staying at one of these villas 😀

Wow, Ibiza is an exotic beach destination and I would love to go for it. Though I visited Spain, due to lack of time, I missed this place. I loved can Basso as it has stoned walls with rustic interiors. Cala Tarida is also perfect as it has a bedroom with stunning views and shower on the terrace. OMG all the villas you listed are so awesome. I would love Cala Tarida for dramatic sunsets and es cubells for the Mediterranean blues. The pictures are beautifully taken and captures the essence of each of these villas. I usually dont like traveling in large groups but after reading your post i am tempted to gather a group of friends or cousins only to enjoy a stay in one of these villas

I visited Ibiza couple of years ago but didn't know about these villas. They look absolutely amazing. If I knew about them, I would definitely stay there. But I guess there's always next time 🙂

Oh my gosh! These villas are fantastic. As I look out my window into the rain and the cold, I can almost feel the warmth of the sun as I lie next to one of these fantastic pools. Is this pretty standard in Ibiza? Is this considered to be an island where lots of rich people go for the summer. As you mentioned, I do know of the party side of Ibiza, but is that more contained and the rest of the island is more glamorous and gorgeous?
Honestly, Ibiza has a more glam 'Mykonos' feel than its neighbours, but it's still a great island to get some rest and relaxation. I'm not a clubbing type, and enjoy the energy there
Can't complain about the weather, it's always spring in Quito! All of these villas look absolutely stunning. I like the minimalist style of Can Basso but I'm a sucker for great views so the last two ones look amazing too (Not that I would mind staying at any of them, haha).

Ever since I heard the song "We are going to Ibiza", I have wanted to get there 🙂 These Ibiza luxury villas looks fantastic and would make anyone want to get transported there! Its quite hard to say which one is better as all of them are very trendy and tastefully done. Would definitely love to stay in one of these, may be Cala Tarida for the bright colors.

What beautiful villas in Ibiza! Ibiza hasn’t really been on my radar because I assumed it was a party place for young people (which is not me!) but this has piqued my interest. I’m a fan of both the beach and like having a pool and you’ve listed several that match that description. But Cala Valdella is the most appealing to me with the bathtub with views and the ability to catch amazing sunsets!
It's really more than a party island. Trust me, I'm not into the clubbing scene, and much prefer to enjoy the views, ambience and just relax 😀
