Italy isn’t a destination typically associated with all-inclusive Italy travel packages. 

Despite its Mediterranean tag, Italy vacations packages aren’t as common compared to what you’d find in neighboring Spain or Greece. 

But, with a little research, you will find Italian all-inclusive resorts that cater to different traveler needs. 
Ranging from Italy all-inclusive family resorts to adults only Italian resorts, this type of Italy vacation is wholly possible. 

In this Italy travel guide, I’ll be sharing 10 beautiful all-inclusive resorts in northern Italy that are worth a closer look. 

From luxury resorts in the mountains to family-friendly all-inclusive hotels they’ll make a memorable Italian vacation.

1. Adler Lodge Ritten, Renon 

Enjoy a vacation in Italy steeped in nature by spending a few days at the sublime Adler Lodge Ritten

Located in Renon (German name Ritten), the lodge isn’t far from Bolzano and the Italian Dolomites.  

The Italian luxury resort is all-inclusive with onsite food and beverages included in the price. Restrictions may apply on certain items so inquire about this upon booking. 

With chalet-style accommodation, the lodge is an ideal getaway to enjoy the alpine architecture of this part of northern Italy. 

Additional popular amenities include an outdoor pool, spa, gym and free onsite parking. Adler Lodge Ritten also indulges its guests with extra activities like hiking/biking trails and archery classes.

Nearby things to do 

Bolzano, the capital (capoluogo) of Trentino Alto-Adige/Sudtirol, is approximately 33mins by car or 12mi (20km) from the resort.  

A city that has plenty of things to do in one day, Bolzano makes for a great day out. Other notable nearby places of interest include towns like Bressanone, Vipiteno and Lake Carezza.  

Some of the most beautiful places to visit in South Tyrol be sure to take advantage of the hotel’s prime location. 

Also, around 1hr by car is the oldest natural park in South Tyrol. Natural Park Schlern-Rosengarten (Parco Naturale Sciliar – Catinaccio (Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten) has ski slopes, refuges and uninterrupted mountain views. 


2. Avidea – Adults Only

The Italian resort was completely renovated in December 2023, something that’s evident from the hotel photos. Modern, bright and airy, the suites’ designs still retain the alpine, rustic style.

Boredom isn’t an option at Avidea – Adults Only with its 2 outdoor pools, full-service spa and hiking/biking trails. In winter, the hotel’s location makes it easy to access nearby cross-country and downhill skiing slopes.

The third pick of my favorite all-inclusive resorts in northern Italy is the sublime Sensoria Dolomites

Nestled in the gorgeous town of Castelrotto (German name, Kastelruth), the all-inclusive hotel promises plenty of rest and relaxation. 

Popular services include an onsite restaurant, pool, spa, 24-hour gym and bar. An ideal choice for all-inclusive Italy hotels in northern Italy, the list of activities will keep the entire family busy.  

Try your hand at golf, bike the surrounding area or pass a few hours in the arcade/game room.

Nearby things to do 

Like the two hotels located in the same region, Sensoria Dolomites makes the perfect base for winter sports enthusiasts. 

The hotel’s close to several ski and snowboarding resorts alongside snowshoeing and sledding trails. 

Castelrotto itself is one of the best places to visit in the Dolomites in winter. We’ve visited both during colder and milder climes on a Dolomites road trip and never regret passing through. 


4. Solea Boutique Spa Hotel

Located in Fai della Paganella, the popular town in Trentino makes the perfect northern Italian getaway.  

The upscale all-inclusive hotel boasts rooms and suites, all of which come with balconies to enjoy the mountain views.

Ski lifts are located close to the property making it an attractive choice for winter sports seekers.

Snowboarding and snowshoeing are two other winter activities, while hiking/biking trails are popular come spring and summer. 

Paganella Fun Park provides a fun day out for families with children, filled with plenty of winter games and activities. Also nearby is the mesmerizing Molveno Lake (Lago di Molveno), which is around 24 minutes' drive from the hotel.

Staying in La Spezia places you in one of the best places to visit in Italy. With easy access to exploring the towns of Cinque Terre, the hardest part is deciding which town to see first.

The historic fort of Riomaggiore Castle makes for an ideal day trip as do the gorgeous Genoa beaches at Lerici. St. George’s Castle is approximately a 16-minute walk, while La Spezia Migliarina train station is a speedy 6-minute drive away.

6. Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci 

Indulge in uninterrupted views of Italy’s largest lake, Lake Garda, with a stay at Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci.  

Its location in the town of Limone sul Garda makes it one of the prettiest all-inclusive resorts in northern Italy.  

The upscale all-inclusive hotel boasts several guest amenities including a private beach, pool and spa. Families are encouraged to stay here with services like a kids’ pool, kids’ club and free supervised activities for children. 

For adults, the scope of activities ranges from 3 outdoor pools and mini golf to a sauna and bicycle rentals. 

Its prime lakeside location provides easy access to outside activities like boat tours, scuba diving and windsurfing.

Nearby things to do 

Situated on the Lombardy side of Lake Garda, the hotel is approximately 10 minutes’ walk to Limone sul Garda. 

One of the prettiest towns at the northern end of the lake, Limone sul Garda has several notable attractions. Limonaia del Castèl is a hillside museum blooming with lemon trees providing exhibitions on the city's history and agriculture.  

Also in town is the Ciclopista del Garda; a park with a bike path providing striking views of Lake Garda.

Stop by the scenic Limone Sul Garda Harbor, take a gelato and watch the flow of boats arriving and departing.  

A visit to the nearby Parco Alto Garda Bresciano promises unbelievable mountain ranges and hiking trails within the regional park. 

Around Lake Garda are plenty of colorful and charming towns waiting to be explored. Sirmione, Salò and Manerba are some on the Lombardy side while Bardolino is popular on the Veneto side. 


7. TH Ortano - Ortano Mare Village 

Leave the mainland of Italy behind for an island getaway at TH Ortano - Ortano Mare Village

Located on Elba Island, off the coast of southern Tuscany, this 4-star hotel offers an ideal Italy vacation.

Its endless list of activities makes it one of the most beautiful all-inclusive resorts in northern Italy.

The private Ortano Beach is 1-minute away while the historic center of Portoferraio is around 28 minutes from the resort. 

Elba Island is one of many beautiful islands where Italians like to vacation. Notable attractions include Palazzina Napoleonica dei Mulini and Villa San Martino, the former residences of Napoleon Bonaparte. He was exiled to Elba in 1814 and both are open to the public to visit. 


8. Hotel & Resort Gallia

Beach is the buzzword for this Italian resort given that it’s located in Jesolo, a sizzling summer spot in Veneto.

A good choice when looking for all-inclusive Italy trips, the resort is family-friendly too. There are two types of family rooms available, one with a sea view and both offering access to the beach.  

On site there is also a kids’ pool, kids’ club, game room and babysitting services (surcharge). 

For adults, the nearby private beach plus sun loungers provides the perfect oasis for soaking up the Italian sunshine.

Nearby things to do 

Given its waterfront location, Hotel & Resort Gallia is ideal for exploring other beaches in Jesolo. Its namesake beach extends along the shorefront, with several establishments offering umbrellas and loungers for hire.  

Other remote alternatives include Mort Beach and Eraclea Mare Beach, both around a 14-minute drive from the hotel. 


9. Hotel Bolognese  

Located on the west coast of Emilia-Romagna, Hotel Bolognese is an Italy all-inclusive resort in the picturesque Igea Marina area. 

There are 56 rooms within the hotel ranging from family to superior rooms. In-room perks include soundproof walls, free rollaway/extra beds, free cribs/infant beds and spacious bathrooms. 

Guest services include an onsite restaurant, bar and lounge, an outdoor pool and tennis court. Hotel Bolognese also provides a free kids’ club and free supervised children’s activities, allowing parents some well-deserved down time.

Nearby things to do 

Staying at Hotel Bolognese places you in a prime location to indulge in a spot of beach hopping.  

Overlooking the balmy waters of the Adriatic Sea are sandy spots like Igea Marina Beach and Polo Est Village. 

The town of Rimini is approximately 21-minutes' drive from the property. Explore the city center by entering through Augustus’ Arch (Arco di Augusto), the oldest in Italy. Erected in 27 BC the triumphal arch is still in an impressive state to this day. 


10. Hotel Maranello Village 

If you love all things Ferrari, Hotel Maranello Village will make the perfect Italian all-inclusive resort.  

Many of the 151 rooms are decorated with Ferrari artwork or embrace the colors of the renowned Italian car brand. A real F1 Ferrari is displayed in the hotel lobby further reinforcing the sport car’s influence. 

Located in a provincial park, some notable guest amenities include the two onsite restaurants, bar and complimentary WiFi.

Nearby things to do 

Unsurprisingly, the Ferrari Museum (Museo Ferrari Maranello) and Ferrari factory are both close to the village (8-minute drive). 

And in case neither site satisfies your Ferrari dreams, make plans to visit the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. A pretty city with a mouthwatering culinary heritage, there are plenty of things to do in Modena in one day
